Airlines
There are two ways of getting to Tamarindo:
1) By flying to Liberia, the regional capital of Guanacaste Province (recommended, travel time to Tamarindo is 1h 15min). Most major US airlines and many European airlines fly to Liberia International Airport, Liberia, Costa Rica.

2) By flying to San Jose (travel time to Tamarindo is 5 hours), the capital of Costa Rica and then connecting to a local flight to Tamarindo. Most major US airlines and many European airlines fly to Juan Santamaria International Airport, San Jose, Costa Rica.
